Can You Pass A Sleep Test?

  1. Do you snore loudly?
  2. Do you stop breathing or gasp for breath, while asleep?
  3. Do you awaken feeling as if you are choking?
  4. Do you sweat excessively during sleep?
  5. Do you have morning headaches?
  6. Do you have a morning dry or sore throat?
  7. Do you seem to have loss of sex drive?
  8. Do you have trouble at work or school because of sleepiness?
  9. Do restless legs keep you awake?
  10. Do you kick or move your legs while sleeping?
  11. Do you awaken and have difficulty falling back to sleep?
  12. Do thoughts race through your mind, preventing you from sleeping?
  13. Do you feel unable to move when falling asleep?
  14. Have you fallen asleep while driving?

If you answered yes to any of the questions 1 – 8, you may have Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome (OSAS).

If you answered yes to questions 8 – 10 you may have Periodic Limb Movement Disorder (PLMD) or Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS): These disorders cause difficulty falling or staying asleep due to the leg movements.

If you answered yes to questions 8, 11 – 12 you may have Insomnia. Insomnia may cause difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep.

If you answered yes to questions 8, 13 – 14 you may have Narcolepsy which may cause overwhelming sleep attacks during the day.
